Reforma
Mexico City’s Avenida Paseo de la Reforma is one of the main thoroughfares in the center of Mexico City. It connects Mexico City’s Centro Historico to Chapultepec Park and the neighborhood of Polanco.
The Reforma hotels listed above are situated between Chapultepec Park and Centro Historico. Along this stretch of Reforma, there are many important, noteworthy monuments for which Mexico City is known, most notably, the Angel of the Independence.
Reforma is also an important business district, home to many international hotel chains, embassies, shopping centers, and more. With easy access to Chapultepec Park, the Centro Historico, and everything that lies in between, Reforma puts you within minutes of some of the city’s most prominent attractions.
Polanco
Often referred to as the Beverly Hills of Mexico City, Polanco is an upscale neighborhood on the Northwest side of Chapultepec Park.
Polanco is home to Mexico City’s most elite shopping and renowned high-end eateries, such as Pujol. It is also host to several impressive art galleries and museums, including the Soumaya Museum, which was founded by Carlos Slim and holds a collection spanning 30 centuries.
Polanco has gorgeous architecture and lovely tree-lined streets, which give it a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. While Polanco does have a business district, in which many hotels are located, overall, the atmosphere in this neighborhood is much more laidback than in the more central Reforma area.
